Our small corner of the Internet, including our store, are dedicated to Synth DIY culture, open hardware, curious electronics, and occasionally blinking lights that probably didn’t need to blink, but do so because it’s cool.

By placing an order, you agree to the following common-sense terms and conditions.

Product Information

We sell finished products and assembled electronics only. Products may be handmade, assembled in small batches, or produced in limited quantities. Minor cosmetic differences, revisions, component substitutions, or shortages may occasionally occur due to sourcing and small-scale manufacturing realities.

Most hardware designs sold by clectric are released under open hardware licenses, including various CERN Open Hardware Licenses. That means sharing, learning, modification, and experimentation are part of the culture here. Please respect the terms of any included licenses and documentation.

Testing & Quality

Products are tested as thoroughly as reasonably possible before shipment. That said, some products require hand assembly and soldering work done by actual humans and occasionally, mistakes happen.

In other words: please don’t count on these products to work with industrial machinery, spacecraft systems, or to keep the sharks, with frickin’ laser beams on their heads, alive in your secret underground lair.
